Joanne Kiernan has over 20 years direct leadership experience in education and the Third Sector. She has enabled many organisations to improve the impact of their work, for the communities they serve. Joanne's expertise lies in taking current evidence based psychological practice in coaching, and making it into practcal 'every day' models for strategic leaders and managers. Improving service industries and the impact they make for vulnerable adults, children and their families.
Joanne's mission is to make coaching psychology flexible and affordable. Joanne recognises the impact this can make for children, young people, families, adults and businesses. Our services work across diverse needs no matter if this is in the home, community or business. The proven techniques can change lives and give hope when dreams seem impossible to achieve.
Joanne is a Member of the British Psychological Society GMBPsS (membership of Leadership and Management Faculty, Division of Coaching Psychology and Division of Academics, Researchers and Teachers in Psychology) and a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management. Achieving Level 7 qualifications in leadership and coaching, as well as Accredited Mentor for the Institute of Leadership and Management. She has professional supervision and is working towards Chartered Coaching Psychologist status with the BPS whilst completing her EdD with University of Sheffield. Joanne has worked for many years as part of the National Association of Headteacher's (NAHT) mentor scheme which provides direct support to education leaders.
With over 5 years running a business in the health and wellbeing sector and experience in the learning and development sector, Ben brings a wealth of knowledge to Impact coaching support.
Qualifications in personal training, anatomy and physiology and nutrition inform a science based approach that when combined with positive psychology and qualifications in lifestyle coaching deliver a truly person centred approach ensuring effective and lasting outcomes for all.
Ben has a real passion for continuous professional development, has studied sports science at degree level and is continuing university studies in psychology holding a membership of the British Psychological society.
A love of long distance running has seen Ben obtain leadership qualifications with England athletics in order to take on a role with a prominent Yorkshire running club to enable development of athletes both competitive and recreationally.
Ben offers lifestyle coaching, working with the client to formulate and achieve their goals with an individual support program that may be both in person and remote. Including, but not limited to achieving career goals, fitness and wellbeing, training for specific events or goals, and weight loss support. Ben is always happy to have a no obligation conversation to discuss your needs and the best way to meet them
